Default ANYONE who pre-ordered please read.

This may be a "tall order" but it seems the only viable way to get what I want.

Im dealing with a dealer and sales manager who "dont give a darn" about a thing I say. BEFORE I go to customer support, I would like to CLEAR things up myself.

1) they arent charging me msrp and say they ARE
2) they are charging me a 490$ paperwork charge and claim its standard yet NOT ONE person on here ive talked to seems to have paid that much if ANY haha.

3) They claim I cant back out and will take my 1500$ deposit if I do so.

What kind of customer relationship is this building? I havent even GOTTEN the car yet and already despise Nissan and just can only imagine what thier service department is like too haha.

2 of these items I have already talked to some of you about, and they are clarified. I know i can get my 1500 back if i speak directly with Nissan. I also know that if they SAY msrp it better dang well work out correctly and not $1400+ more like it is now.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Here is my question:

We all have "proof of order" sheets with our personal information, selling price, car type, features, ect ect. Even some people have the "administrative charge" on the sheet as do I.

Would it be possible to get copies of some of your order slips. Your MORE then welcome to blot out names, and personal info. That is COMPLETELY understandable. I dont want to step on toes or anything. I just would like to show these "fine individuals at Nissan" that they ARE taking me for a ride, and im not a retard.

Yes all dealers work differently but in the GRAND scheme we ALL know im being screwed. If i throw it in thier face on a NATION wide scale (showing tons of forms) they can literally bite me.

Tort law various state-to-state, so you're going to have to do some research on Georgia. Good luck.

As for the paperwork fee... $499 seems awfully high... where I ordered it was $289, which I found to be a bit steep, but oh well.

Im pretty sure mine had no paperwork fee, but will check my order sheet when I get home.
I would like to add 2 comments though:

1. Dont hate Nissan, hate your dealer. I think its a shame when people associate the two. If the Gap sold you a pair of Levis over MSRP, would you hate Levis or the Gap?

2. Im assuming there's more than one Nissan dealer in your area, so dont go to this dealer for service, go to another one. Even if its out of your way.

I have also called around the area and NO ONE has a blue performance on preorder I have 0 options except for straighten these guys out.

Yeah if you could take a look at your sheet, or even send her on over, that would be fantastic.

wadd3456,

You may have a scan of the purchase order from Town and Country Nissan, Seattle for my 350Z - my name deleted to protect the innocent. It shows MSRP with the only additions to the price being sales tax and license fee. Signed by me and the sales manager and dated. Performance with no options.

Let me know your email and I will send it to you.

I checked my paperwork, and there is a 50$ paperwork fee. Seems reasonable to me.

Scott,

I have my order sheet, but no scanner. Can I fax it to you? The only additional cost on mine is the tax, title & license. Of course, it's just a lump sum number, so I don't really know if there's anything buried in it or not. But, after subtracting out what I know the sales tax would be, the title and registration is only $316, so it's probably right.

Wow, maybe my dealer is OK after all

I got mine exactly at MSRP I took a printout from nissandriven with the options I wanted.
The only other fees I'll be paying will be a tiny paperwork fee + registration fees. No taxes here in New Hampshire.

if you need a copy of my order I can fax it to you.

Mine had a $51 Documentary Services fee which doesn't really bother me. This was part of the form, so everyone regardless of car purchased pays this fee. I tried to scan my order form, but it's a carbon copy on yellow paper and the scan is barely readable.

perfectlyfrank,

Are you talking about an actual purchase contract or the Pre-Release Order Program (Buyers Order) form? My order form shows no pre-printed costs other than the $540 destination and handling fee. I only have a photocopy of my buyers order, no yellow carbon copy of anything.

I suppose that once the actual purchase contract is completed there will be the little added-on doc fees and such. I'll have to pull my purchase contract from my '97 240SX, which I bought from the same dealership and see what was added. Of course, that was almost five years ago, so I'm sure they've changed!

It was just a preprinted item on my dealer's standard order form.

Nope they wrote the DOC charge ON the order form. Its there so that they can say "oh, by the way. we need to include that cost at closing" I think 490.00 is REDICULOUS.

Your right, they are already making 3% + incentives pff.

PS- I sent you all PM's. If you could email me at work, Ill send over the fax number to ya. skaskawitz@ymmc.yamaha-motor.com is my address at work.

Thanks
Scott

Frank's right, that is a pre-printed item on every Nissan order form.

Well, it's not a preprinted item on the 350Z Pre-Release Order Form that I have. Maybe the Southern California form is different from other regions. Or there's a different, generic Nissan order form that was used.

But, like I said, it won't surprise me to see some doc fees show up on the actual purchase contract.
