Default Hello 350z owners! Need advice

First post, I dont have a 350z yet. But i will be getting one in the future. More than likely a used one. Whats the best year? Do they have any common problems i need to know about? I really like Z's. They look great and they arent slow. And you can modify them. Whats the best mods to do on one? Whats the most restrictive thing on them? Need some info/tips on 350z's. Cause i know ill be getting one eventually. Right now i drive a cadillac with the northstar v8. Just got my exhaust done acouple days ago so i could really here how the northstar sounds!(sounds tuff!) Anyway, Its not slow. But i really want a z.

Any local people? Anybody around dothan alabama or panama city FL? Tallahassee FL? Looking to get closer to some z's. Want to go look at some peoples rides! Whens a meet?

Like i said, I wont be getting a z real soon. But i know ill have one in the future!

To answer all those questions you will have to find a site about the 350Z. Check google.

window sensor problem is a headache that axle clicking and tire feathering, sometimes transmission problems. Still a great car though.

Everyone says the muffler bearings go out on these cars much more frequently than other cars, but it is a sports car. The blinker fluid reservoirs develop leaks too, but they are simple to repair.

I would be alittle worried about the transmission problems. Is it the six speed? or the auto that has problems? I would deff get the six speed.

Muffler bearings

Are there any problems with the speedometer fluid reservoir?

The color is nice, Its even got the brembo brakes.

Ahh, well i still want one lol. Ever since the day i pulled up next to one at a redlight. I noticed the 3.5 sounds great. The cars look ****in sweet! And they look like they handle pretty damn good too. Im currently driving a money pit (with 190,000 miles on it) so i cant imagine it being much worse than my caddy.

The dude i see driving around is in fact a member of this site. His z looks tuff! And that thing moves!

if you can afford it, go for at least an 07, new engine, more power, more refined stock, and turbo kits just released.

I don't want to know what this car is going to cost me at 190k miles, it will probably be cheaper cause it should be a fully built race car, second thought , probably not.

Quick summary:

Your best bang/buck with little to worry about is a used 2007 enthusiast.

If you can't afford one, 2005 Zs didn't have any particularly major or common issues compared to 03/04/06.

Beyond that, you will need to research on the forum yourself, there are years worth of posts answering your same questions.
