Default How old are you

I have had a driver’s license for 40 plus years, which I got when I was 16. That makes me 56. Older 350Z owners PM me if you would.

I'm 20... and no, I don't sell drugz... and yes, my parents did buy it for me.

But in a way, I did earn it. I landed an awesome internship along with a huge scholarship, both of which basically take care of my entire college tuition. Saves my parents $26+ g's a year

I am only adding a spoiler and tinting those windows and getting a car cover

Bought the car the month I turned 22, it's not too expensive. See a lot of guys, but mostly girls younger than myself driving BMWs's and Mercedes' around here Long Island, NY. So I guess I don't get too much bad attention. Anyways, I got the car financed and am paying for it myself. Screw everyone who has a problem with that.

Getting a Z because the car I've been driving for 6 years now wants to go to nursing home and retire. Waiting on 2004 model. Yes, parents buying it and I'm 23. Not trying to be big headed but I'm also graduating after this fall term with a B.S. in chemical engineering, which means when I land a job after I graduate I'll take over the payments...

I'll be 38 next week (but I feel like 21...does that count?). 40's creeping up way too quick!

Ditto - that was my situation exactly. The good ole Ford Exploder started giving out on me after 6.5 years - payments for repairs were ridiculously high. My parents financed it for me, and I'm taking over the payments in January.

Good luck with graduation dude!

It ia amazing to me that all of you young wipper snappers can afford this car. I am 45,own a home,harley,350 touring, raider season tickets. It great to own a new car, until the first payment is due or your insurance rates nip you in the behind. If you can afford it great, but as you get a little older, you will all learn the value of having a couple of bucks saved up. Past cars 67 firebird
18 yrs old,78 280z
20 yrs old,66 chevelle super sport, owned for 10 years, just sold.I do love my toys, but save for your thirties. You never know what new toys will be available

peace

hey silver and black, you may be the reason I even saw the car. It was a black 350Z on roseville road. The first time a car really impressed me so much. Sounds great. I was asked my son, what kind of car is that? it sounds good and looks good, that is why I started researching the car. Then I finally bought it. It may of been you.

While your advice is filled with great wisdom, I'd like to add my $.02 please.

Life is short. Live your dreams. Just make sure you don't have to sacrafice other important things in life, such as life outside of a job.

If it is a dream ... most people are willing to sacrafice a few things for a little while.

Happy driving and peace!

Congratulations to everyone on their Z's, new or not-so-new! It's good to know we share an insatiable passion for our cars ...

Sometimes I start thinking, "Oh wow, is it weird that I enjoy talking about my car so much over the Internet with other Z drivers?" Then I get in my car, drive it, and have an urge to share my joy some more on here ...

You weren't that much different as a young whipper snapper yourself, if I do that math right. That 78 280Z must have been new when you bought it at age 20!
