Actually, from a 30 roll, the Z may win. An STI is just slightly faster from a dig and not as fast at higher speeds. If this were a 40 roll the OP would definitely have an edge. The OP also said he is a better driver, which helps. I'd put money on the Z 7 out of 10 runs.

You said he can't shift for sh|t, if he can't shift why even race him. Gas is expensive go to the track and race someone comparable.

If you want to school someone, do it at the track from a dig. If he sucks that bad he won't get off the line and you get a slip that you can rub in his face till he kicks up that boost.

Im saying slips dont lie, no "I almost had you...you never had your car" type of crap. If he sucks race him from a dig, then shove a slip in his face. If your not gonna run at a track run him from a dig anyway. 50mph rolling start isn't a race, that's about 1 shift.

true that illl do it from a tig at the track , but let me tell u those STIS can go from a DIg but after that i should beat him top end near the end of the finish way.

good thing the kid doesnt know how to drive one properly lol , so much for him trying to flame a 350Z.

No. Z is a sport car , STi and Evo are high performance car. Open road or close road STi and Evo will take the trophy most of the time. That's why most of time attack and competition cars are Evo and STi.

I have raced against STI's firsthand in an 05 coupe base 6MT and it was very close from a dig. I barely lost. From a roll I won by a bit.

so Z's aren't high performance sports cars? then either are evo's or STI's
