Default Cheap plastic molding on the Driver Seat

Is it just my "Z" or is anyone else having problems with the molding that borders the driver's door side seat? Everytime I get in and out, the plastic molding pops loose.

mine was replaced last week.... I went in and told the dealer that I wanted it replaced.... they did it no questions asked.

I have a feeling that I'll be going back several times for this before the warranty is up.

I don't have this problem; although I weigh 140 lbs...are the people having this problem a little larger than that?

Had mine replaced. The service guy at the dealership said they've seen a few come in with that problem.

I weigh 138. So I know that I am not the problem. I don't even have that much mileage on my car (2,000). I was getting in one day and noticed that the plastic had popped loose. I snapped it back together, but it kept popping loose. When I go in for my 3K oil change, I'm gonna have it fixed. I guess I can't complain because this the only problem I've had so far.

Peace!

it happened to me because as I get out my left hip brushes past it every time. I'm 6'4" and 190lb.

I can already tell that the new piece is beginning to come loose. I'm sure I'll go through 3 or 4 of them before the warranty is up.

I have an idea! When mine gets replaced, I'm gonna pop it loose put rubber/plastic cement glue on it, and snap it back.

Problem solved!

I have the same problem - going to get it replaced when I take it in for this weird metal on metal sounding squeak that I get from the back right side of my car whenever the car accelerates or slows down (like the slight jerk from a hard shift).

I'm here trolling for ansers to that problem.

Here is a dumb question... how long is our warranty? I got my car last October. I was so excited about the car that I didnt read any fine print.
