Those seem like some fairly good first mods. I'd say next on your list should be plenum spacer. Take a look at Motordyne or Powerlabs.

I just got my Z two weeks ago and I told myself I would keep it stock till next year...that didn't work out so good....

I ordered a Borla true dual and Motordyne 5/16 spacer...also black powder coat grille craft grille and blacked out reflectors.

Looking for Volk wheels but can't really justify 2650 (wheels only)

if you didnt order that Bassani from us you paid to much AND we're close.
but its going to be loud with the bassani + hi flows but not too loud, i dont mind the combonation.
make sure you eventually do an entire suspension setup and not just springs, but those springs make it sit so nice, youll like the look

Automatic should definitely drive much more economically than anyone could shifting manually.

See my Sig. for my mods. Got the car in March also. I didn't go with Berk HFCs because it gives the exhaust a little rasp, which is exactly what I do not want. The Bassani was a wonderful choice and I still believe it's one of the best tones for our car. After the CAI and Plenum Spacer it has a little more tone to it... perfect IMO.

Nonetheless, great choices. I just picked of a set of new wheels and tires off an 08 now it's time to sit her a little lower

i did order it through you mike waiting patiently for its arrival...
so do you think the berk high flows is a bad idea? what about performance gains when combined with the bassani?

Haha, that reminds me of what I told myself when I first bought my car. I said I wont mod it untill my warranty expires. A week later I had already dropped about a grand in mods Its an expensive journey, but its a hell of a good time. Especially when you come home and theres packages on the door step

red 2003 z, you notice a nice gain from the exhaust and HFC's. I would go with a plenum spacer, pop charger for your next couple mods. They are relatively cheap and get some decent gains there as well.

I'm sure the power gain from the HFCs would be worthwhile. However, I didn't want to lose the nice sound of the Bassani alone.

I did notice a deeper and meaner tone out of the Bassani after installing the Motordyne 5/16" Plenum Spacer.

I'm actually thinking about selling my Nismo CAI and getting the JWT Popcharger. Better sound (and probably the same or better gains) IMO and my Nismo CAI is hitting the hood since the spacer install. No matter how I adjust the intake, it still hits.

Well I cancelled my Borla order and went with the Bassani instead from Blackline...killer deal too!

The 5/16 Plenum spacer is on its way, with this and the Bassani I am sure I will be satisfied but I wanted to change the intake.

Any recomendations for intake? I see so much back and forth on here. I was thinking leave the stock tube and throw on the JWT, are there any better combos with Bassani and plenum spacer?

LOL it's nearly impossible to keep these things stock. I don't know how some people refrain from modding.

Before I bought the car, I told myself for the first two years I was only going to spend $2,000 on minor mods/things including any labor.

It's been 2.5 years since I bought it and to date have spent close to 12 grand on mods and toys for it. There is about 10 grand of mods on, in and under the car now. So I only spent about 5-6 times as much as I though I would. I don't regreat doing it though, was fun as hell doing it and love the car now.

Very close to being done though. If I would have did a few things different the first time, I would have all the same mods now but had enough left over for a BBK too give or take 500 bucks. errrrrrr... Hindsight is 20/20.
