Default Have I lost my mind?

A few weeks ago I brushed the bottom of my bumper on a parking block -- this caused a few tiny scratches to the bottom of the bumper and to the black scratch guard. Ever since then I can stop thinking about it and have even contemplated replacing the whole bumper because of it. When I tell this to non-car enthusiasts, they look at me like I'm insane.

Does anyone else get crazy when something minor happens to their car or have I just lost it?

Yep, you lost your mind. Just buy a lip to cover it up!

I know the feeling. My minor door dings are driving me nuts. At the moment not nuts enough to pay to have them fixed yet.

As soon as you do...something else will happen.

Welcome to the club. I have a couple hard water spots that are driving me nuts. And how about parking? If I am in a bad spot...too close to others...etc...I can't focus at all. Know the feeling?

Wait until you barely drive the car, then replace all those dings

Get a front lip, goes over it so you can't look at it, although it will probably happen again with the lip. Not as bad as me, got my front bumper repainted (repaired those scratches underneath from parking too close to the curb) and the first day I took the car out I accidentally parked too close, again!

yup, know the feeling. Its just a car, and if you use it, it will get damaged. I just try to remind myself that my car isnt THAT important.

Don't fix it. The second you do, you'll do the same thing and all the world will point and laugh. I know you don't want that, do you?

Same problem here, my classmate thinks I am insane for spending so much money on minor visual repairs.
But then again if you are driving a pos honda ur not gona care for the dings - so i gave em the finger.

Same for parking spots, I have no choice but to park next to people due to limited parking .
Sometimes when I am first on campus I wait till people park next to me to take down their plates incase they ding my ****.

LMAO that's taking it to the extreme.

You just have to remember it's a car, it's bound to have a few dings to it if you drive it daily. My front lip kit is scratched like a **** but only on the bottom where you can't see it.

You park, you actually sit there and wait in your car for people to park next to you and get there plate numbers? That is a bit ridiculous. I just park far back, next to the curb at all times as close to the curb as possible.
