Directions to Rockwood Park, for 8/16 Z meet
Ok all, for those of you making the trek to Richmond next Saturday, here are the directions to Rockwood Park:
From the North, take your best route to I-95 South to SR-76 (VA-150/US60/US360/Powhite Parkway (NOTE .50 cent toll on the Powhite. Keep to the LEFT and exit toward SR150 (Chippingham Parkway) take Chippingham to Hull Street and exit to the WEST (towards Amelia). Take Hull Street approximately 4.5 miles to Courthouse Road, turn LEFT. At the first light turn RIGHT into Rockwood Park.
From the West, take I-64 East to I-95 and follow directions above.
From the East: Take I64 west to I-95 South.Get off on the Chippingham Parkway exit. Go to the Hull Street exit (West towards Amelia) go 4.5 miles on Hull street. When you get to Courthouse road, turn RIGHT. At the first light, turn RIGHT into Rockwood Park.
From the South: Take I-95 North to 288 West to SR-76 North (Powhite Parkway) NOTE: toll .25 cents). Get off at first exit (Courthouse Road) and turn RIGHT. At the SECOND light, turn LEFT into Rockwood Park.

Thanks guys, I'm sure ill be able to find it. I'm gonna be coming down from Northern VA (Alexandria to be exact ), with maybe 3-5 other Z owners from this area, and maybe a few from MD. So it should definitely be fun.

If you guys ever do something local (i.e. less than an hour drive) please post it in the regional section. I am considering a Z but have yet to sit in one or talk to an owner. Wondering whether the extra 67 horses are worth the better interior, fit and awd of my current car.

Did anyone look at Import Xpressions calender? There is a huge car show in PA, about 2.5 hours from DC!!
I'm going up there.. I know it's a lot, but you guys should change plans to meet mid/north VA and drive up to PA to IX's show! Tons of imports, girls, and best of all, you can smoke all the ricers going to the show also.
Just a suggestion though.

Do you guys know about how many Z's are gonna be there? Or at least a rough estimate? Just curious, its late and I'm bored, so just wanted to post somethin up anyways. I think we're gona have at least 5 or 6 Z's coming down from Northern VA. And, any plans on what else is going on down there? Food? Cruising around somewhere?

We're guessing it will be around 12-15.
The park that we are going to be at has picnic tables an BBQ grills, so if people want to cook out, there's space to do it. There's also a grocery store almost across the street, so if we decide to do something on the spur of the moment, it will be easy to get supplies.

Everyone-
I noticed a typo in the directions, so I've made the changes below in RED.
There's several parking lots throughout the park, but we're going to try to setup in a shaded lot near the rear of the park. When you come into the park, the road basically is a loop around the entire park. We'll try to be in a small lot near the rear of the park. If you don't see us, keep driving around because depending on how crowded the park is when we get there, we might have to adjust our plans. See you Saturday.
