It doesn't matter what you do or where you park! If you park in the very back of the lot as far away as possible some idiot is going to park their POS beater car right next to yours regardless if there is a billion available spaces around you guys!!!

Ex. I went to the movies in Burbank and it was early so there wasn't many cars in the parking structure. I went to the very top were no one likes to park because 5 flights of stairs is too much work. Anyways, my car is, no joke, the only one there when I leave! My wife and I eat and go back to leave stuff in the car before the movie and just as we close the doors and start to walk away this old couple in a crappy van start to circle to the lot. I, of coarse, stop to see what this dumba** is going to do and you guessed it, he parks right next to my car of all places! He even decides to back his big a** van in next to mine. HELL NO, I went over and asked him why he would do that! You know what he told me? "Who cares, you're insurance should cover it!" After that I told him, "Just because you don't own nice things and don't care about your own s*** doesn't mean you should ruin other peoples stuff!" I copied down his plates, took pictures of him and his car right in front of him, and right after that he got in his van and moved it to the opposite end! That's what I do now, if I park somewhere i take pics of the cars around me and inspect the car before I leave..... it's the only way to hold someone responsible!

Sorry for the rant....

wOW, that's funny because the parking "next to me" thing happens to me all the time also.

Sometimes you don't have time to take pics of the cars next to you. It's just how the world is now days, no respect for anybody else.

Probably just a fatty trying to walk between your car and theirs. The zipper on their pants probably just rubbed along your car while they tried to squeeze through...lol. ...humping your car in the process. Either that or a shopping cart attack.

I saw a group of special ed kids getting out of a van at a park I was running at. One kid was like clapping, leaning and sliding along the side of my car. I about blew a gasket. Tried to keep calm the hole time...thinking to myself...he probably doesn't know any better. Moved my car and now I know never to park next to a handicap spot even though you have 5-10 feet between you's and the handcap spot you never know what will be park beside you.

hahahaahaha this is so mean but funny. Ahh. The "key" to this situation is keep your car out of bad areas. No pun intended. Im korean also and I am paranoid about my ride.

Sorry to hear about your vandalism and before this write-up, I just checked to see if I had any, no (knock-on wood). My old car, VW GTi was keyed from taillight all the way to the front fender. And this was at a college football game, thankfully, if my GTi wasn't keyed, I probaly wouldn't be a Z owner for almost 4 years now. Good Luck with your fix!!!

Do that before it get to hot in Cali so you wouldn't get baked in the car. I really hope you would catch the same person that scratch your Z and teach him a lesson.

I have to agree i have owned a 03z and now have a 07 the Z is def one of the most hated cars. What can you do my car has never been keyed but about a month ago i woke up early in the morning. And there was mustard all over my car they even got creative and drew something on the hood. With the mustard in the end what can you do unless you catch them doing it but that never happens.I dont even let it get to me but anyways moving soon to a better house with a nice garage. Oh yea sorry about your cars guys and the **** thats happened but you still got what they can't have in the end.

first off UCI (University of Civics and Integras) parking lots suck...apparently if you dont drive a honda of some sort, you're gonna get keyed. I got my Yaris rental keyed while helping my friend move into her dorm..

–I'm NEVER going there with my Z.

People get real scared when you catch them in the act. I recorded a lady keying my friend's car as we walked up and then took pictures of her license plate and then she saw us. Freaked out and started apologizing and pleading with us not to call the cops or insurance. Turns out she was mad because she couldn't fit the shopping cart between both cars to unload her groceries and got mad. Haha sure enough cops came cause of the commotion and cited her for property damage and told us to go with insurance. What a wuss. I had to tell my buddy to calm down and let the law take its place, man was he pissed lol but I would have been too.

but i think that if you have nothing better to do. just park your Z around the same place then pull up a lawn chair and hide a bat underneath your seat. Grab a few beers and then wait. Kind of like catching a squirrel with a stick, box, and walnut. Takes time but sure enough they will come.
