I've had my Z for exactly one week today, and I decided basically once I got it that I wanted to give the "custom grill" a try. However, I did not expect to run into so much trouble trying to find the chrome trim strips!

I went everywhere, and I just can't find them. I figured AutoZone would be a sure bet but all I found there was a bunch of cheap products with the Fast and the Furious written all over it (bright green steering wheel cover with two F's all around?! )

Anyways, I was wondering if any of you with this custom grill could help me out on where to find these chrome fender/door strips. Much thanks in advance.

i got mine at Pep Boys for 5.99. make sure to get the chrome strips for the Truck though. they make em for the car, but its not big enough

There isn't even a Pep Boys in Wisconsin, yet they still air the commercials here. D'oh.

Anwayz, thanks to you guys so far for the input. Anybody with any more suggestions on where to look? I still can't believe I'm having this much trouble trying to find these things....

Saw in your signature you have ADR Sterlings - A few questions:
Chrome or diamond cut? What size Rims? What size tires? Special ("tuner"?) lug nuts?

The reason I ask is that I am seriously considering those rims (diamond cut) in 18"x8.5", but don't know what tire size fits.

Any info would be appreciated.
