I was on the freeway the other day and went to pass a buick. My speed as I was passing was probably 70mph. The woman in the buick decided to floor it maybe to prove her car was faster. I let her carry on since I think she made herself look more stupid than if I had floored it too. 
Sounds like the kid tailgating you was a douche but probably best to just move over and let it go.

i see where red hot is coming from, i had a friend that bought a trans am and he tailgates everyone especially nice sports cars. he thinks his car was bad***. no lie its a piece of trash his side mirror is about to fall off, the clear coats coming off its missing part of the exhaust, and hes blew the motor and transmission cause hes an idiot. so +1 red hot. if that kid drives like that all the time then his car wont be so different from my friends.

perhaps the kid had somewhere to be, and u was just driving like his grandmother. So as he proceeded to pass you you decided to speed up on the guy hence him giving you the finger probably noting to you that you should of been going that fast to begin with.

I didn't read through this whole thread so this may have already been mentioned. I absolutely hate people who drive in the passing lane. Once you pass someone then get the f*ck over. If you are not passing someone then stay out of the lane. Oh, and it doesn't matter how fast you are going.

honestly you should have just let him speed and let him pass, there is no need to speed up and be faster than him
drive the speed limit, it saves fuel and saves lives, many people speed nowadays which puts other drivers endanger since if your car spun out of control you risk hitting other drivers...

If this thread came off as me trying to put down the Z I'm sorry because thats not what was intended. I love my Z it's the best car I have ever owned but lets not lie to ourselves it's not that fast. (reason I'm boosted) I just let this guy get under my skin and that was my fault.
I apologize to everyone else that may think my insults were directed to everyone. I clearly directed them to specific users that disrespected first.
