Cops and shiny cars...
Driving down the freeway today I had the somewhat unfortunate realization that I wasn't really going to buy a car in the color that "I" like. I realized I was much more inclined to buy something like silvertone to fly under the radar so to speak.
I know that I speed. I know cops like shiny sports cars, especially when their red and blues dance off highly polished quarter panels. I want Daytona Blue, but I think I am being influenced by the long arm of the law. Does anyone else feel that way?

I think you should get whatever color makes you happy. I personally want something thats easy to keep clean but also looks striking. So I'm looking at either red or white. Silver is the easiest of all to keep clean but it makes the car look "unassuming." It's a beautiful color but it just doesn't WOW me. But that's just me.
I'll tell you what freaked me out... a few years ago, I was driving from Atlanta to Charlotte, and a silver E36 M3 flew up behind me 9(I was going 85)... I moved out of the way, and as the M3 was passing me, I notice blue stripes on the side... yes, the M3 was a SC State Trooper...

Yes, it was a couple years ago... but it's the entire concept of an M3 as a trooper car that frightens me....
