First road trip in your new Z
Best way to pass that 1200 mile break-in?
Me, I'm going the looong way through all of San Diego County. I'll be starting bright and early from my house, taking it up the 76 to Palomar Mountain Observatory for some hills and twisty action, then thru San Diego's finest and most scenic backcountry on the 78 to Santa Ysabel, a pit stop in Julian for the best apple pie in the world, Lake Cuyamaca, then onto HWY 8 West for some cruising, down the 5 into Imperial Beach, and up along the coast into Coronado, downtown, ALL the beach communities, PB, La Jolla, Del Mar, up PCH, Oceanside, and finally cross the 76 and back home. Whew! About 250 miles or so...
Gotta show off the Z and see what it can do... it would be even better with a few other Z's in tow.

I'll drive about 300 miles back from the dealership, then a couple weeks later will probably drive it to Orlando or the Keys for the weekend...I should be able to knock out 1200 miles by October.

I'm on what I was hoping to be my first road trip, sitting in a hotel in Ohio on my way to a wedding in Connecticut. I was really hoping I would have the car by now to make the trip. I had to take my laptop with me because I knew I'd never be able to go 5 days without checking this site.
I'll probably cruise down to see my parents in Atlanta when I pick up the Z. I've already planned vacation for the week after my delivery date.
