Anyone have info on bra/car cover?
Anyone have an update on availabilities of bras and car covers? I remember the white Z33 that was at Fuddruckers in SoCal awhile back had a prototype bra. And Courtesy has the bra and car cover lined up for the future... Anyone able to get an update on production/availability for them yet? I would opt to obtain both prior to long trips.

I like the tight fit of the Nissan front end cover but I don't understand why there is not a piece for the hood, that is the one that gets the most damage or at least more visible than the plastic front end.
I don't want to get a black bra because it will distract from the Blue but I also don't want the clear film, after I saw it I could not justify the >1000 price.
What I do want is a color matched bra, I currently have one on my bright red car and it is not noticeable at a glance, you know its there but it doesn't stick out like a black one.

I've seen posts in this forum stating that the total cost for installation of the clear bra is less than $400.00! Still a bit more than the $99.95 "leather" bra you can get from Courtesy Nissan though. I've had a bra for my Honda Prelude Si for several years - used it religiously at first and then it started to sag/stretch out in places. Haven't put it on in over a year. But...it did seem to protect from those rock chips. Personal taste as to the look - some think a removable bra adds to the look, others don't. Me...I'm undecided if I'm going to get one for my silverstone Z although I think the black bra would look nice on that color.
My biggest concern/headache deals with rain. Every time it rains (which tends to happen quite alot here in Houston), I had to remove the bra from my Prelude. A hassle at least and then there is the warning about the "clouding" up of your paint if left on while wet.
Decisions...I did order the custom sunshade and seat organizer from Courtesy - just to have a couple of extras for my Z when it (hopefully) gets here next week.

from a local dealer before picking up the Z out of state. It did the job for the 600 mile drive home. I have since sold it to another member making a similiar delivery drive, since I'm getting a clear one installed in about a week.
The nissan one does not cover the hood. It fits very nice though. You have to remove a screw in each inner fender, and replace with a screw that has a snap-ring on top. Then, its a little hard to stretch into place if you dont warm it first, but its a great snug fit and doesn't look that bad as far as bras go.

Heh, whenever I see a car with a vinyl bra on it, it reminds me of those old ladies that keep plastic covers on their sofas waiting for that special occasion that never happens
really guys, vinyl bras went out with chrome trim and big rubber bumpers. Color matched or not, on modern cars where bumpers are integral parts of the cars asthetic design, bras really stick out
