About 45 minutes ago I went out to my car and found it sitting at a precarious angle along side the curb. A note was left by a local police officer informing me my car had been hit. Got done talking to the officer and my insurance, turns out it was someone from the appartment building I was at. Surprisingly, I'm really not pissed. Looks like I'll be getting a new rear bumper and possibly fresh paint on my rear quarter. +1 for new aesthetics.

 

way to be mr brightside - no reason getting upset when something positive is coming out of it. still kind of sucks, but at least the damage was minor!

 

No it wasn't a hit and run. I'm assuming they backed into me and just didn't know who to get ahold of so they just called an officer to my car. There's a lot of people out there not honerable enough to take the blame for something like this. I respect them for having enough integrity to take the blame. It would have been easy to just drive away.

 

That’s cool at least it wasn’t to serious and your getting a bumper out of it. I can’t take people hitting my car anymore. Sometime last month some guy rear ended me as I was waiting at a red light. Wasn’t serious but enough for me to get a whole new bumper. The guy was cool about it and paid for the whole thing with no problems. Yet again!!! Last week another dude rear ends me, I was so heated I sat in the car for a sec in shock and disbelief. After it registered in my head I got out and raged on the guy as he apologized for his foot slipping off the brake. Didn’t find any damage at the moment and was so mad I just got back in my car and left. Come to find out, lower left of the bumper has the indents from his front license plate screws. It’s not really noticeable but pisses me off. Definitely fed up since it’s my DD and hate being without it.

 

Wow, your a calm dude. that's impressive. I still remember the 1st guy that hit me. My brother had to pull me away from him/his throat specifically. Anger problems? nehh.

I'm much better now.
