Default snap-clip for interior plastic trim

Anyone know where i can get those plastic clips used to secure interior trims in place? they look like little white plastic buttons with a sharp tip. The dealer says they have them @ $1 each.

thanks

Hmmm... did I miss something, or did you answer your own question? I believe your dealer has them.... for $1.00.
You could try a generic part available at Pep Boys etc... Probably cheaper, but you might not be satisfied with the fit. Do a search on the web for 'panel fasteners' will turn up quite a few hits.

Try a NAPA auto parts store, when I needed some for my truck I found 'em there..they have about a million different ones..and the 350 isn't on the part# list yet..so ya gotta know what your looking for.

Question

oh ya... what i meant to ask was the local are charging $1.25 for a littel plastic clip. Seems to be a rip-off to me. It probably costs less than 5cents to make. I was asking if anyone know where i can get a dozen or so for a reasonable price. sorry for the confusion.

They have to charge that hefty price to pay for all of the Research and Development that went into the clip.

Don't forget the safety reports written after the fact and the re-development to ensure better safety.

$1 a piece. Thats crazy. I have about 5 extra from the rear spoiler kit. Just go ask the service dept if they have any laying around. Dont say you want to buy some. I am sure AutoZone, PepBoys, etc sells these and they are maybe a quarter. I have orange and white ones. The orange ones seems to be stronger.

Are these them?

Thanks for all the reply.

VandyZ: actually, the clip looks a little different from the ones you mentioned. They are blue or white in color and have a sharper tip with a Xmas tree like pattern.

But $1 what a rip-off price. if someone knows the nissan part # please let me know

thanks

I broke one of those clips when I pulled my door panel off after installing new audio equipment. I went to the delaer and asked for one. WELL... after looking up the part to be sure I got the proper one.. it seems there are THREE different types. They all look the same to me, but they are either White, Orange, or Blue. I was told they were $2.25 each.

I have one less clip in my door now, and I have no rattles. Not only did I not want to pay $2.25 for a 5 cent plastic part, but I forgot WHAT color one I had broke...
