So a few months ago my rear drivers side tire blew out on the freeway as it was banking right at about 85mph, caused my car to slide out hit the side of the freeway and roll... Was pretty butt hurt about it for a while so I haven't been on these forums since it happened... Just thought I'd check in and see how everyone is doing and share some pictures. On the upside I walked away with no injury aside from a small laceration on my head and some kinks in my neck. I'm still pretty upset about the car as it seems like I had JUST nearly finished doing everything I wanted to do to it. I got a 335i coupe now, so that's my next project! Hope everyone is doing good and be safe!

Thanks guys, Z is a pretty safe car... Doctors said they've never seen someone walk away from a freeway roll in a sports car at such speeds... Side/curtain airbags def helped

 

wow...glad you're ok! That was definitely a nasty wreck. What kind of tires were you on? Nitto 555s?

If you were banking right did you hit the wall and come across the freeway? I got a touring just for the curtain airbags. The car performed well in the accident by the pictures.

Front tires are falkens, if you look at the pic from the back you can see they are in fact Nitto 555s...

Two hispanic guys stopped to see if I was okay and one of them hugged me cuz I was in shock haha..

 

Those look like the Falken FK452 (I believe). I have these tires on the front for now and I've HATED them since day 1 (over a year ago).

Yea I wasn't fond of any of the tires, I had bought the volks used and that's what they came with so I figured I would wear em' out before I bought now ones... Thanks guys
