can a automatic 07 350z beat a automatic 06 mustang GT in a straight line?...

I know this has been talked about 94390 times and i dont really care so dont bother posting if your gunna not answer my question.

Stupid question. A smart person would realize there are many variables to consider. Here's a thought, find an owner of an AT stang and run him/her at the track and report back with your findings.

 

not true u cant beat a bugatti veyron in your corvette in a straight line (i know its immature but u said ANY care can beat ANY car in a straight line)

what kind of variables are you talking about? its stock vs stock. from a stop thats it.

i already know who will win on the track i dont care about that. thats common sense it turns like a boat im talking about in a straight line.

Probably not. It might be close, but with an auto GT, there probably won't be much room for error on his side.

and its becuz the old threads that talk about this doesnt talk about the 07 350z's and they have gotten faster.

i know my 05 Z cant beat my friends 05 GT. and no we didnt race on the street. so im just wondering if that added hp between the years made it THAT much faster.

Doesn't the mustang have 300hp (although a v8), and the 07 z has 306 hp. Shouldnt it be really close. I would think the z would win. I have an 06 and my brother has an 07 and his is a little faster than mine. Not sure though maybe samjcg is right...If only we had vtec lol
