:confused:is it even worth buying a 08 350z or just waiting for the base model of the 370z to come out? just wondering on your guys opinions..
i wouldnt be getting the car till late december if i was to get the 08 base model z sooo in your opinion which would you say is the better catch?

Cause from what i hear the 370z is coming out january sooo and time is not a issue

maybe wait another yr to see if there r any issues? imo, i like 350z ext. design over 370z. but, it's your decision.

 

If 370z was sexy, i would say wait but with those shark fin in the front? hmm no. i say get 08 for CHEAP and trade it in for later model 370z. like 07+ 350z(later model) compared to 03-06 350z(earlier model).

It is easier for you to mod 350z anyway. It can be more "eye catching" even though 370z is new.

Well from what i understand the base model is the lightest and i like taking my cars to the track. So Thats why i already have a Dodge Rt with navigation and i dont need that in another car and convertibles are just ugly on 350z so its Pretty much im thinkin of just getting the 08 and throwin TT to it mak it different than others.. since theres sooo damn many in So Cal anyway.. other than that i was thinkn of gettn the Evo IX MR ... dunt no itll be a coin toss for me

 

Well if you get the base model just make sure you get LSD. Anyway if you like the 370z get it. Just cuz it's a first year production car don't mean it'll have problems. Plus im sure they would have caught most of the problems with the G37. But from what i read, the 370z is not much lighter/faster than the HR Z. And i personally HATE how they look which is why i suggest you get the 08Z. But it's your choice, get the one you think looks better lol.

Well since your next car will not be your daily driver, but your weekend track machine, the MR would be a better choice IMO. Btw mod wise, the HR Z is really limited vs the Evo.

 

Get the Evo. There will be one less ricer driving a Z in san diego. Goodbye and please locked this bullsheit.

imo the 350z is already a small car, at least i think it is cuz wen i park next to others its low and not tht long, wich i love dont get me wrong, but the 370 is 7.5 inches shorter in length.. and its shorter in height (idk by how much) but i have a feeling that the 370's r gonna look like lotus' out there... idk and idgfuuu....

 

I'm going to go against the grain and say wait for the 370. You said this is going to be a weekend/track car - the smaller/more nimble/more powerful 370 should fit that slightly better...
