when I was in SD I didnt own a home nore did I have a garage so I took care of it as much as possible. It was always serviced at mossy nissan. including body and paint work. here in florida the same It goes to Deland nissan and Universal.

So im on top of everything. The car was used alot for work in SD at one point.

Im not sure about the plugs and all since I bought the car used in 05 and it had it done then I think. I had all the systems drained when I first got the car and have been following my schedule not the one the dealer has set for me.

Full synthetic on tranny fluids and oil changes. I wash my car weekly and wax it every other month so I think Im doing a good job on the up keep.

have 145,xxxK on my Z, 2003 Track 6MT
no problems, regular maintainance always done by me.
only thing I can complain about is going thru one window motor on the passenger side, simple fix.. it works like new now.. AND factory amp for the sub is sketchy.. sometimes works.. sometimes doesnt.. u have to bang the panel a little sometimes

How did you get a Fairlady registered in the states ??? I think it would be cool to have one instead of my 350z.

miles are one thing, its also on how you maintain a vehicle. I barely get up on it but when I do it really gets up and goes.. no slippage in the clutch, motor is quiet - no valve lash or anything like that. I always put additives in the oil when it gets changed, and add some octane booster every now and then.. 146,000kms .. serviced and stored for the winter.

1. both window motors
3. both window regulators
4. Some kind of wires and amp in the dash which was expensive as hell

2. gas shocks for the trunk dont stand up anymore.
14. bose sub behind seat stopeed working
15. stock cd player doesnt work when cold lol!!!

im wondering if all 03 z's have the same problems.

Well i replaced the first time when i got a light flywheel/clutch setup OEM clutch was fine. Second time one of the pressure plate tabs sheered off and damaged the clutch as it got kicked around in there.

Both times i replaced the clutch was fine, but it wasnt from lack of trying. . . I drive the **** out of it.

Autozone and places like that sell the remanufactured ones for around $100 bux. I bought all of mine from wrecked or parted out race cars.

Let's see mine has been alot of places also. When the Z was new I drove it from Scottsdale Arizona to Jacksonville Florida. I then simply drove up I-95 to Jersey and straight to New York and back twice. Since then I have traveled to Salt Lake city Utah and Moscow Idaho. I also had my share of visiting a few places in Northern california not to mention numerous times to Las Vegas Nevada. After all that driving I have racked up 158k miles and counting. She still runs perfect and still looks damn good after all those miles.

I think you mean Plastix, and it generally only lasts a couple of weeks at best. Try some Turbo Wax Headlight Restoration. My Z's headlights have hazed since the car was only about a year and a bit old. Last used the TW Headlight Restoration system in February, only just needs doing again now. Leaves it very optically clear without being harsh, and you can do it by hand too.

It also has some bearing that they are frameless windows, so pays to be gentle when closing the doors.
