Coming home tonight on the highway out of nowhere runs a possum like animal right infront of me, I hit the brakes and try to swerve but still hit it. Here are the pics of the aftermath. How much damage do you think was done here?

That sucker probably bounced right off my front bumper and got catapulted in the air. Wonder if I will see him on the side of the road tomorrow morning. Motherfuker. LOL
Well I guess this gives me an excuse to get me an aftermarket bumper right?
dont lie, it looks like you hit a person lol j/k. If you go through insurance would it be worth it with your deductible? If so just let them pay for it, or else why the hell do we pay so much money for.
Hey, I had the same issue about 3 months ago. I hit a possible "racoon" or something exotic with the front end my car. Cracked my bumper just like that, but also minorly dented the fender and messed up a few parts inside. It was $4,100 in damage. Good Luck!

it almost looks like whatever you hit tried to jump out of the way haha it missed your lip for the most part. but that sucks man. if you see it on the highway take some pics, thats weird that theres no blood or anything
Since you're not clear what it was you hit, did you check for any little old lady debris......like handbags, glasses, or those goofy shoes old ladies wear like Aunt Bea down in Mayberry?
That's what I was thinking. Dude must've hit a tree and the racoon fell out of it onto his car to have done $4100 in damage.
Insurance covered it except the deductible, original estimate was $2,100 for a new bumper, paint, fix the very minor bent fender etc. Than they added 900 for a new headlight (very small chip), new windshield wiper resevior, some intake piece and a few other small items. It came to $4,100.
