East Coast Z Owners -- They're here...
Nah, I've been off all week. First one off in about 5 months. I did go into the office tonight at about 9 just to knock off some paperwork to avoid the nightmare that would have been waiting for me on Monday.
I love retrograde nails! So much easier and less invasive than antegrade. What's cool is when you have a floating knee, you can nail the tibia and the femur through one 2 cm incision!

I know it's late, but did I miss someone explaining that it ISN'T true that these will be held until the second week of September, or is everyone too excited to notice?
I hope the guy at the dock was mistaken, because I think it would be pretty strange (and crappy) if everybody got their car when it got here except those of us in the northeast while Nissan waited on more cars. I mean, second week of September means up to 2 1/2 weeks of the cars just sitting there.
If I misunderstood the original comment, would someone please correct and reassure me.

God I love Google
Not streaming..it refreshes every 60 seconds.
A good time to watch is a little after 12 noon(weekdays). They evidently have a lunch break for 1 hour and traffic backs up at the gate. Tune back in at 1PM to see the backed up traffic out of camera view. ( I'm almost 50 so don't tell anyone I'm doing this or they might commit me to a Willliamsburg crazy ward.)

The guy who wakes up one morning, reads about the Z in Business Week and just buys one because it's "neat" needs to be given a qualification exam before being permitted to own one.

UPDATE! Dateline: Sunday, August 25th, 2002. 14:00
Just got back from a prowl around the lots in Port Newark. The good news is that it appears that the bulk of the 350Zs from Friday were indeed moved to the DAS lot where they await PIOs and loading.
The BETTER news is that the lot by the pier is once again filled with more Z cars. No telling what the number is, but it definitely seems that more cars showed up between Friday and today.
Pics of the cars in the DAS lot will be posted to my web site later tonight.
BarnicleBoy -- There was a smattering of Brickyard cars in the new batch!
- Stay tuned: details at 11...

Check out www.07444.com for the new pics from the DAS lot. No laws were broken to get these pictures, so ENJOY!!!
Stay tuned for frequent updates. Next task is to get video coverage of the first trailer leaving the DAS lot. (With prior permission, naturally!!!)

They have a HUGE lot in Elizabeth where they have thousands of cars waiting to be sent to dealers. I damn near crashed my truck when I saw that slew of Z cars through the fence.
(We're getting VERY close here, folks. East coast Z fans will have PLENTY of reason to smile very soon here...)
