I believe Mannish is correct. They should be identical.

It's a pretty short throw, and I believe it's the same as the G (but I'm not 100%). There is a shorter throw available, but like my husband said the other night--how much shorter can you make it???

I'm very comfortable with the stock throw. Its pretty short and the shifter is already well-balanced.

I'd be more comfortable if mine didn't hang up on the 2nd gear synchro... I think I'd be able to shift a lot smoother... :-\

i remember seeing someone who made a titanium short throw shifter for the z that made it so it only mooved like an inch or something... pretty crasy....

The "someone" is Dweeb. Try www.rallitec.com for info. It reduces the throw by about half.
