Is anybody else going to the National Z Convention? I am making the 3 day 1900 mile Drive in my Z From Dallas, Texas to Nashua, New Hampshire. It is a 5 day event with track days, Road rallyes, and Car shows. They have a entire hotel just for Zers. Its Oct 6th - 10th. More info Here This will be a Once in a Lifetime thing. Even Mr. K, the Farther of the Z, will be there. He's 94 so this might be his last one. Anybody even close (Like the Great Dr.B) should at least come up for a day or two.







I dont want to hear how far it is for you, If I can make a 30+ hour drive you can handel 8 or 10

 

Hmmm, some of us in MA (Nashua is just north of the border) are considering having a "local" meet for everyone on this board that drives up. I know of five people driving from Canada. Maybe we could have a national My350Z.com meet, possibly on Saturday October 11th. Any interest?

 

yeah im interested, i will be driving up from northern NJ, approx 5 hours to nashua so i'll definitly be around on the 11th... keep me updated!

 

22 Hours for me….. but the wife and I are definitely going.

Chazzg, some of the Oklahoma people (not 350’s but other Z models) are going also and mentioned that they were going to try to get a group to drive up together.
Are you interested in hooking up and caravanning?

Last year it was in San Antonio, did you make that one?

 

I could not make last years. I think I will be leaving With the "Fast" Group of the Z club of Texas on Fri Oct 3, But I think we allao have a group going on Thurs. From what I understand we are meeting the Austin and Houston Z club and then picking up every other Major cities Z club. So when we get there there should be 100+ Z rolling in.


When is your group leaving?

 

Just out of curiosity... when did you guys book your hotel room? These conventions get HUGGGE and most of the hotels were booked up two months ago.

I checked out the Z Club of Texas' website and nothing is mentioned other than the dates of the convention.

Are you going to the ZCOT lapping day at Hawlett Raceway on 9/7?

I'll be there with my 300zx TT. I made the trek to San Antonio last year from Baltimore...WELL worth the drive! It was an awesome week. They also debuted the 350z last year on the caravan from Dallas to San Antonio.

It's great to get to meet and know so many Z owners. I highly recommend that anyone within 1500-2000 miles make the trip, if you have the means. Definately a time to remember!

 

? i'm in nor. cal. anyone know some one that rents Z's in the nor. east.

 

Here is what I Know so far:

Bob Bosse( robert.bosse@usa.xerox.com ) and some folks are heading up Friday to arrive on Sunday, they have to prepare for the chili party, FYI, the Texas chili party is an euphemism for Marguerita Party, sponsored by Courtesy that ZCoT hosts every convention. A smaller group is driving up on Saturday to arrive mid day Monday. And most people are heading back home on Sat.

My Z is almost ready, And I will Be Going with the Fri Group

 

Its strange how fast plans can change, not only Am I going to the convention, now I'm the "Caravan King" and have to plan the route. It just amazing what having a Hi-tech "In Z PC" will get you in to.
So as it stands now the ZCOT(Dallas) will be leaving @ 9am Fri with out first stop in Little Rock AK, kitkos I Would love if you and you Group would meet up with us there. I have a great trip planed, with games, prizes and good site seeing.


I will have the Route done by 9/18 (ZCOT meet) so if you want our Caravan (seven Zs so far) to Meet up with your group, Let me know, and I will let you know how close and when we will be in any certain Place

I will not be attending. Not because the drive is long from Ohio, but because I cannot take an entire week off of work at this time. However, I will be meeting up with the Cleveland, Ohio Z Car Club and driving with them for the first couple hours. I want to get some photos and videos of all those Zs lined up on the highway. I so wish that I could go.

By the way, does anyone have Mr. K's mail address? I want to send him a thank you letter ;-)

 

Do you know when they are planing on Going? We will be in Cleveland Sat night and head out on the last leg of the trip on Sun from there. The route I have planed Should only take us 6 hours to get to the Convention form Cleveland, Does that sound right?
