Time to get flamed again.....
My Z turns One on Saturday. I just went over 1900 miles, mostly to and from Bay Area Z events.
To put it in perspective, I just filled up at Union 76 on Thursday. It was my 6th fill-up in almost a year.
Flame away!

I told my guy I wasn't the most garaged Z out there, and I'm going to copy this thread and show it to him.

My wife has a business trip in LA next week and wants to drive the Z. I sweat bullets at the thought of my baby on I5 or in an LA parking garage. Should I let her add 1000 miles to the odo?
Tough decision... At least she's driven the car. My husband has driven it ONCE, and now he's just too afraid b/c he knows how obsessed I am and doesn't want to make me mad if he brakes too hard, etc. And also b/c of the poor visibility. LOL.
All I have to say is, if you let her take the car, do NOT let her valet it. Some office buildings in Century City insist on it, but if you ask nicely, they'll let you park it yourself.

I'll find out where she is staying in LA tonight. Maybe we could draft some of the SoCal members to stand guard over the Z 24/7!

I got mine in Nov. 03, and I've only got about 4,800 or so miles on it. I won't get to put any more on it for another couple months, as I'm at college and about 2000 miles away from it.
sigh...

Pre-Order VIN 249 purchased September 19, 2002
617 miles
East Coast
Rains almost every weekend.
My Z only gets diven on weekends, never a rain drop on it, never driven during winter when snow or remaining salt, snow gravel is on the road. Garaged and covered. ABC'ed it the day I got it, Had clear bra put on immeadiatly, Applied layers of Klasse. Looks better than any Z sitting in any showroom. Track model with shiny shiny Rays. Even waxed the Brembo calipers.
