you see the problem with letting your insurance paying for a door ding or other damage is that most people have a $500 dollar deductable and if it is by some chance bad enough to report it you face the realisitc chance that the insurance co. might raise your premium. and if they are trying to run they more than likey dont have insurance. and are you really going to take someone to court for a minor door ding? i think that people that hurt your baby (car) and don't leave a note with there name and number deserve an *** beating...

 

Many variables involved: 1. Is HE armed?
2. Am I armed?
3. Could he just be browsing over my b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l- monZter, admiring it?!
4. Does he run as soon as he notices someone's approaching?
Things are getting downright dangerous; even teenagers are brandishing weapons, these days. NO vehicle is worth my life. I'd rather file a claim with my insurance Co.

 

I was up late 1 night and heard a small noise from my garage, and looked down from the wdw above and saw that my 4 wheeler was being pushed out of my garage. I creaped out the back door w/ my paintball gun and around the side watching the 2 young idoits pushing this heavy thing across the yard. I literally walked behind them for about 15 seconds (I almost started laughing) I was about 15 feet behind them, and lit them both up in the back w/ paintballs. They screamed and cried like they were 5 year olds! LOL! Falling down trying to run, no idea were i was in the confusion. They got away, i did not give chase. FUNNY! So if it was my car, i would do the same thing. My wife now has learned to close the garage door when she gets home!

 

The people robbing your car will do anything to get away, including killing you. My car is not my baby and is no where near as important as my life. It's just a toy for me, that's it.

It's pretty sad that some of you are so emotionally attached to a car. Too materialistic.. I pity that..

2 spanish guys were leaning against my car in the parkign lot at the mall. It was a fairly busy afternoon, so to choose my car out of all of them is a WTF moment. I pressed my panic button about 20 feet away and they ran off.

I don't think I would be able to harm anyone if they did anything, mainly cause it's not worth the trouble.

Agreed - There is nothing sweeter than the knowledge that some punk had to pay for my NEW Shiznet... because he farged it up... Only thing that cures 2nd time offenders better than making them pay for their stupidity, is capital punishment...

If someone was really messing with my car, although it would be wiser, I don't think I will stop to think about the risk of handling it myself. Instinct will kick in and whoever if messing with my **** will get KTFO.

 

I'm afraid I'll do something very irresponsible if I catch someone vandalizing my car. It's not the fact that my car was getting fu*ked with, it's the blatant disrespect for other people's property that will set me off.

but if i saw someone messing with my car it also depends if they were unarmed id go outside and give them a whoopin and then call the cops, but if they were armed like with a gun i'd call the cops if it was a knife i'd grab a bat LMAO!!! but IMO i think it doesn't matter where you live i believe sh**t just happens to the best of us but hey that's life
