I got it for $20,000 with 50,000 miles on it, if that helps at all.

Thanks,

I just had the car up on jack stands, and saw that it had front coilovers. Is that stock? I thought it had dampers and separate springs stock.

I'm 17, this is my first car, and before you ask, no my parents didn't pay for the car,I did. I actually wasn't specifically looking for a Z, and when I saw it I immediately loved it. I did look briefly on ebay, but at the time, the deals were about the same, and I needed to finance, so the dealership worked.

Yeah, as he said, I don't have any bills to pay. I just have to pay the car payment each month. And, I've always been good with money.

I'll try and get some photos tomorrow. I'm starting to think that there are some more mods on the car, maybe that's why it cost so much. It's fast, though I've never been in another Z to compare it to. Hopefully, as I start wrenchin' on it, I'll find a few more pleasant surprises!

Thanks for all the help so far!

As long as you drive safe and search before you ask questions then you will be fine on the forum. and at 17 I guess I was busy playing baseball and basketball so I couldn’t work enough to pay for a 20k car insurance and as much as I just blew money no way for me.

Alright, I got some pics of the suspension. I only had a few minutes to do it in, so I had to leave the wheels on.

The first two are the front, and the third is the rear. I hope i posted them correctly.

I didn't think stock had coilovers.

I thought that the springs and shocks were separate, next to each other, like the rear suspension. Not coilover.

I guess you haven't seen a lot of MacPherson strut vehicles, then.

Right, I never said that the Z didn't come with coilovers, I said that I didn't think it did. I also didn't say that no production vehicles came with coilovers, but that most do not. Are you telling me that most, as in 51% or more, have some form of coil over shock suspension system? If not, then why are you trying to correct me? Or do you just like being an arrogant jerk?

If you have some form of proof, that at least 51% of production vehicles have coilovers, I'll admit my mistake, and learn something new.
