arch nemesis of the Z?
How sad is it that all we have to compare to are a couple rally sedans, a cab-door rotory and a 4-banger roadster?
Mustang GT? Audi TT? Bmw Z4? even those cars don't make good rivals. Late 90's Japanese sports cars? not fair. RSX-S? maybe only on these forums.
I think Z's have been alone for awhile, at least until the Hyundai Genesis takes some strides.

I dont know why everyone thinks the stock evo is fast- from experiance at the track they usualy run low 14 or high 13. Thats hardly spanking a HR Z. True you can put more people in it, but everyone i know has there own ride and children would only take money away from my real pride and joy!!!
My right foot!
Cause nothing will put a beating on her quite like it!
Car wise, my friends 911 Turbo but since his car is considered a super car, untill the Z see's TT it's out of my class.

I would think s2k.
i dunno y Evos are even compared using #s from the drags. That's not their strong point. It's their handling. They'll spank us with the AWD. And their $/performance for mods is so much better due to their factory turbo and able to get 300+awhp with a fraction of a cost that it takes us. I rode on the EvoX at the road track; that thing is a fricken beast.

And as for the "nemesis" question, kinda tough to say. I'd probably say mustang GT's, brings the whole import vs. domestic thing into it and an HR or (ostensibly) a 370 can beat em time and again in the 1/4 mile stock for stock, which is the mustang's supposed strong point.
When I bought my Z I was looking at 3 cars, Sti (old bodystyle, this was 07,) rx-8 and the Z. First test drive was the Sti. It was fast, but the sloppy gearbox and riceboy styling didn't do much for me. Rx-8 was a dream, beautiful handling, crisp shifts and I am a fan of the styling. Then I drove the Z.
It made the Rx-8 feel like a toy, it felt much more polished and thought through than the Sti, and DAMN is it gorgeous. Then again, if I could have afforded an RSX I would have jumped on it.
