Another member of the club
After months of drooling and plotting and planning, I am finally in my Z. Almost ended up in a silverstone touring with black interior, but couldn't quite make the numbers work at the dealership. The next morning I searched on the Nissan site for inventory and saw that a Daytona Blue Touring with Frost Leather interior was available at a local dealership. Because I had not seen this combo before, I called immediately and found out that it was actually in stock. My wife and I raced to the dealership and discovered that it had been a special order car and the dealership couldn't get ahold of the person who ordered it. The manager gave the okay to sell it to us.
My wife was okay, even a little excited, about getting this car. After seeing the blue with the light interior, she about passed out from excitement. She told me that we couldn't leave the dealership without that car. I was excited about the fact that it hadn't left the back of the dealership and showed only 5 miles. No crazy test driving in this car.
So I have put my order in for splash guards, about $140 worth of Zaino, and have an appoinment for tint. And I can't wait each morning to settle into the car and take it out on the road.
I have some questions about this car, but I will post those separately, and in the appropriate forums.
Thanks to everyone here for all of the great information. I look forward to sharing my own experiences.
