I went from an 05 WRX that was running hard to the Z. The thing that sold me was just how well of an all around sports car it was. The pure tone from the exhaust and the power put to the rear instead of all four corners had me.

It's both Go and Show, AND value and comfort. If it would have been just GO, I would have bought the STi. I turned away from S2k because of the comfort factor. Bimmers and Porsches didn't make the cut for value. This is the best all around package for me. After 6 years, this thing is still a looker does not hurt.

I can't decide what I really bought it for except that the Z is about the only decent HP,RWD,2 seater, decent gas mileage car out there. The fact that it looks great and actuaaly performs were bonuses.

Originally became interested in the car for its appearance. Just like when you meet a girl, the initial attraction is physical (i.e. visual). The performance definitely sealed the deal though (like when you find out the girl is great in bed ;D)

I bought the car because I had an '03 Eclipse GTS. I knew that if I were to turbo it, I'd still only be making like 105 whp, so I said screw it. I need a car that was faster and had more power from the beginning for it to make since to actually put a turbo on it. Plus, the 350z looks so much better.

P.S. I also got my *** handed to me by a 350z like 3 years ago. Just watching that Silver Z shrink off in the distance made me think to myself, "I bought the wrong f'n car!!!!!!!!"

Always performance. It definitely doesn't hurt that it's a good looking car though but I bought a sports car to autocross and road course race it.

unfortunatly there wasnt a both selection. what i like to do is spend a certain amount on the engine and performance and then spend about the same on the exterior, i like modding both.

but thats me

Sorry for not putting that choice in but I'm sure if I had put a 'both' section...every single person would've voted that way. I wanted to get down to the heart of the SINGLE first thing that attracted people to the car.

..bumpty bump! Wow...the numbers are extremely close. Looks is catching up.

Well I haven't gotten my Z yet (this summer), but i'm buying it mostly for performance. The great looks are a bonus to me.

not that performance isn't important, but coming from an accord the jump was pretty massive. it felt like my old 68 Camaro, but all modernized and comfortable with much better mileage. I am thrilled with the performance, but looks sealed the deal. I test drove a lot of cars, some faster then the Z, but the looks of the Z won me over. I actually test drove the Z first, prior to driving like 6 other make/models, and the Z was always in my mind. : P

looks for now. when its paid off and I am a bit older? performance. it's not going to be worth **** in trade in so I might as well pay it off and make it a track car.
