So heres the story, i am turning 21 this year and buying my first 350z. I went to the local nissan dealership and talked to the owner of the dealership about them. He has one coming in tomorrow a 2003 350z stealth edition so he claims. It is black with the aerodynamics kit? lip spoiler, fully loaded just like the grand touring, 6 spd 20k miles for 15,900. Im going to probably buy the car regaurdless but he was trying to explain this Stealth edition bs. Claims there was only 5 made, they were made for the police departments in southern california, they have some trans******** word he used in them that makes them undetectable by radar, said the same **** comes on the new 09 gtr, also claimed the governer is set to 255 instead of 155 but theres no way the car can go that fast. Im not an idiot and i cant find anything out there about any stealth edition ****. Has anyone ever heard of this or is this guy just an *******. Let me know asap, like i said ill probably buy it anyway because its in my price range but let me know what yall think. Thanks

 

That is BS..... tell him to go screw himself for trying to pull that crap. Best thing to do is ask him about another salesman who he hates and buy the car from the other guy. I would call him out in front of him. Don't fall for it. If anything takl to the sales manager and let him know that the salesman is lying to you trying to pitch you a "special edition" that doesn't even exist. Tell him to prove the limiter BS. Ohhh wait HE CAN'T cuz on the extremely off chance it would ever go that fast, there would be no way to prove it because the speedo doesn't touch that. Maybe he meant km/h?

PS: The only "stealth" Z's out there are Nitrouz's old 420ZTT (which is hardly stealthy lol) and the guy who painted his flat black...

Yeah thats what i thought. He is the owner of the dealership tho, who also owns a 600hp twin turbo 03 350 AND the r34 from the 2 fast 2 furious movie... i just dont get why he was trying to pull that bs on me. Almost makes me not want to do business with him.

So you have never seen or driven this car and you are probably going to buy it anyway. The owner flat out lies to you multiple times and you are probably going to buy it anyway. Yeah, good luck with that!

This salesman/owner is CORRECT, only 5 of these were made. But he missed out on an important part, it has a back seat for prisoners! Nissan engineers specially designed this limited edition for law enforcement use only. Please check for papers. Good luck with your purchase.

I've got the last Stealth Edition Z ever made and he's lying to you it will not go 255, I've messed around with the gearing and gotten it up to 254 tops. I call BS on 255

 

why would you trust hes not lying about anything else if he's stupid enough to try to feed you that stealth bullsh!t? I would go up there and talk to that salesperson about the car, ask a bunch of questions, give him a hard time, then tell him you know he's full of it, talk to a manager or something about him to maybe give him more of a hard time, then go find another car.

 

I'd buy it. It's a freaking $16k car thats faster than a Veyron, ahhhhhhhhhhh no brainer let me know if you pass on that purchase. I'm seriously interested.
