Hi, I am interested in buying this car but from the looks of the picture, the car may have gone through a front collision of some sort. The dashboard seems to be made from different material (unless this is part of the touring package). What do you guys think? The carfax claims it's clean ...
just looks like the previous owner upholstered the dash and rear strut case in some sort of suede... This sort of thing is fairly popular among some people. not 100% sure tho. hope that helped!
front collision??? i can't see where? is that the original paint...it looks like a flat lambo white....anyway...it looks good, you should go check it out in person
i think it looks nice man, check it out in person and inspect it yourself. if it seems legit and you like it, think is a fair price then i say go for it. love the dash
the Z looks fine to me and i actually like the interior of the car looks nice
go see it in person and see if you like it, id say the car is clean from the pics
Update: Just got back from dealer. Apparently the car was a "showroom car" with lots of mods and stuff. It is sold as is with no warranty ... guess I will keep looking. Just wanted to mention that the 350z is a track model (not touring) and a 6spd (not automatic).

What exactly is done to the car to void the warranty?? I'd call bs on that. Nice G35 rims, by the way.

Assume it has a Nissan warranty. Why would it not?
When I asked them about the Nissan factory warranty, they said that the car isn't covered because of the "mods" done on the car. He told me the Z was sold as is ... just the signal I needed to walk away from which is a shame because I really liked it. I would like a car with a warranty more though

I don't think they know what they're talking about. Unless it has cams, or internal work done, it should still have a warranty. What mods does it have?
Spork is correct about the interior being wrapped in suede. There is also an upgraded pioneer sound system in the 350z. The engine bay was modified a bit (salesperson said so) but was restored back to stock. Not sure why there was no warranty on the car but the extended warranty they offered was a rip off.
