ok so i just picked up my new 06 manual z. I love it but i have a problem that when i shift it jerks too much. especially from neutral to 1st. am i doing something wrong or is this something i should look into.

I can't understand how it would jerk when shifting from neutral to first. You should be stopped when doing that.

no its not my first manual just havnt driven one in a couple of years. im probably just rusty. but is there anything i should know about the z when it comes to shifting?

it's a actually one of the best manuals i've ever driven...it takes some getting used to...it will jerk hard if you don't know what you're doing, but i'm with KornerCarver by trying to shift it from neutral to first...you should be stopped when doing that...

 

Welcome. The anti-jerking valve is probably jammed up with back pressure.
