Default Old ladies driving 350z...

I ran into a lady at a car wash last week and she was telling me that she used to own a corvette. Traded in the vette and get a 350z. Than other day I saw a another lady driving one. and today I seen different lady driving one. I guess it's just me, that don't want to get 350z labled as a girls car or something. Oh btw don't get behind a caddy, buick or olds they some how drive little slow in traffic...This is what I noticed over the years of driving so I try to get behind them...

Default What's wrong with us "old ladies" driving Z's?

LOLOL!! I'm a 42 year "old lady" and I drive one! I didn't trade my corvette in for it - I traded in a 2001 Yukon. Now that's something to brag about!

I don't ever hold up anyone in traffic ... I no longer have to chaperon jr high school dating excursions ... and I rarely follow any cars so don't need to be concerned with makers/manufacturers.

The 350Z is for rebellious spirit - not designed for those that fit the mold. We exist at any and all ages.

Enjoy your Z ... and have something in common and appreciate the bond that exists between you and us "old ladies".

Though I'm not an "old lady" (and neither are you Keven), I completely agree with Keven on this one. The car is mainly my hubby's but I steal it every chance I get! I can't imagine the Z being labeled a girl car.

Default "old"..."ladies"...??

I dunno 'bout the 'old ladies' in your 'hood, but the guys definitely like having me at the 'Z' meet! Guess I'm not 'old'.
Now who would you like to talk to..and look at?
A cute girl that likes sports cars (yeah, I had a C-5/Corvette too) AND 'SQ' audio systems...or some dude grabin' at his trousers tellin' wannabee stories?

The only thing I don't get; if you're sooo into the 'Z', then why are ya' scopin' my chest? (LOL)

@@

"grab the stick and feel the thrill" :-O
(I'm talking about the shifter..what did you think?) ;-)
Oops..guess I'm not always a lady. The 'Z' makes me sooooo naughty (he he he).

jazzfest,

very dangerous territory

personally, i think it is cool when women drive powerful sports cars. especially if it is a car that i admire, such as a z or a mustang.

Old ladies. Bah! I know I'll be driving sports cars and muscle machines well into my retirement years--and I'll probably be beating a bunch of the guys at the track then, too!

And like someone else said, better to have us women driving Zs than the ricers.

One day (when you get over 40) you kids will learn that age is an attitude. Any lady driving a Z is not old.

Peace

I saw a post on here the other day from a guy who wanted to know what is a safe speed to downshift from fourth to third. Now, would you rather hang with that guy or a motorhead like my wife, who can outdrive two-thirds of the guys at every meet we attend?

Default What do you consider to be an "Old Lady"?

....age is relative so to some people an old lady would be a woman of 40............to others a woman of 70.

Regardless of physical age or gender, any person who loves the thrill of owning and driving a Z is young at heart.

Many people would prefer to see an older person who chose and bought the vehicle for themselves driving a Z, than some spoiled kid whose mommy and daddy gave them the car in order to offset the guilt they feel because of a lack of quality time spent with the child while he/she was growing up.

The other funny thing is that some people who don't want old ladies driving the Z are the same people who can't wait to rip off the "350Z" badge only to replace it with the masculine sounding "Fairlady Z" emblem. .....lol

As for me, anyone who drives a Z is okay in my book........provided they drive it sensibly and take pride in owning it.

maybe It's like mid life crisis or something, like lawyers and doctors buying harleys. Maybe they need to feel young again and still need to get attention from people. or they just don't want to grow up or old. I talk to this lady at a bar and she was telling me that she just got divorced and she got the 350z to **** her ex-husband off.
