Post up a WTB: rear bumper thread in the classifieds here. I'm sure there are a few people that have OEM bumpers laying around that they would get rid of cheap.

not so bad. few hundred$ to fix.

to make you feel beter. i hit a deer at 3 am lost my front bumper both headlights radiator windshield washer tank and assorted paint chips on both fenders and hood.

the insurnace paid for part of it but not the hood or the fenders. and i had to pay in euros. you will be fine. oh and they tried to get me a dui for hitting a deer sober.

i have to say it:

then f'n take care of it....you have 3 mirrors that show you the rear.

where in indiana are you located because i'm NOT going to park in your driveway.

and calm your *** down, it's just body work. If you can't afford a 500$ rear bumper then you need to find a new car. take it to a body shop, have them order a new one then they'll paint to match the car. simple fix.

Thank god it wasn't a person that you rammed into while you weren't paying attention. And +1 on taking better care of something that means so much to you.

I remember hitting a bus stop sign when I was 17 in my camaro and feeling this way, but that was for a truly more difficult car to get replacement parts for, and I was too young and naive to understand the process.

calm down. all it takes is money. you f'ed up, your solution will cost anywhere from a couple hundred to 600 and up. :P

A shop would replace the lamp, sand the bumper down and repaint/blend about 1/4 of it, then re-clearcoat it. $300 max. Chillout.

or you can just move your eyes up about 12 inches and look in the rearview. putting a rearview camera won't help if people are already too lazy to look in the 3 mirrors they have.
