Don't take this the wrong way, but man-up and drive it yourself. It's cheaper, smarter, and costs less.
Whoa I'm pcsing in may next year and planned to have my z shipped. What happened?

I can relate to the OP. Dealing with car shipping companies / services is def not a fun proposition. When I moved cross-country, I looked into it and everyone I spoke with gave me the impression that they were shady and generally untrustworthy. Not to mention that if you read any of the agreements, you'll find out that you're completely at their mercy. No commitment for an actual pick-up date/time (usually a 3 day window), hence no guarantee on arrival date. Also, they do a good job of wiping their hands off as to any responsibility for damages.

Their slogan should be "we will pickup you can when we want, and we may deliver it when we feel like it. And hey, if it's damaged in any way, it is not our fault." Sign at the bottom of the page.

Just drive it.

my z is an 06.5 (no oil consumption problem) and I have currently 23K miles on it (i know it seems low but ive been putting about 4-5k miles in 2 months!!!!! it hurts so bad to hear that....but all of its from work to and from DC and also another job at VA.

But what it seems like im getting from everyone is to drive....and honestly i think you guys have pushed me over the edge in my decision....i just dont wanna put about 6000 - 7000 miles in two months...thats just outrageous and painful for me ..... i guess im gonna drive but during the winter my car will definitely be under a cover (unfortunately my house in boulder doesnt have a garage) and I will be needing to get a front bra (BTW anyone got one for sale???)

This is exactly what i dealt with...when i called up the top reviewed company i was so not guaranteed with anything...3 day window for pick up no guarantee...7 day average drop off no guarantee...damages or mechanical problems are not covered unless you are actually there during the drop off which is ******** considering the car may get there earlier than you...i dunno the entire industry is just wack...driving seems the only real answer here...its just the mileage...it makes me wanna cry just hearing how many miles ive put on the car within having it for only for a few months

My front bumper cover has a paint chip where the paint bubbled away from the bumper cover. Makes me think they hit something, and the cover bent causing teh paint to crack and lift away, so there's a bubble.

Also, my sideskirts are scratched up pretty bad, as if they grounded against the truck when loading, or something...

Cosmetically, doesn't look bad at all. Can't even see it unless you're looking close, but the fact of the matter is, they did it, and I wanna get reimbursed for it. They offered $375 as an on-site settlement, but a repair shop said repairs were closer to $1400. Now, jus waiting for the claim to be processed.

Some dings, and or scratches will happen, that's the nature of the biz... Especially if they have to put the car on a transport truck to send somewhere, like they did mine. They're pretty good at trying not to damage your vehicle though.
