I've driven with shoes maybe 3 times total in the Z. Always barefoot. Though I do have the base and no fancy extra 300lb shiny pedals. 
But the hand on the shifter, happens all the time here in Hawaii. When I first bought mine, one day it was extremely sunny and hot. Melted the rubber seals on the top of the door where it meets the windows. Little parts came off stuck to the window. So i threw in some dough and came back 5 min later for my loaf of bread. Was yummy.

i've fit a a football player in the trunk and two in the front for a total of four. not even kidding haha. altho the trunk didnt close...

Can't wait to figure out what crotch rocket I'm getting this time around. I've missed my sportbike.
