Default Service Agreement refundable?

When I finace thru NMAC they gave me the 5 yr 60,000 miles Security+Plus Gold for free so now I just received the agreement booklet and it says I can cancel it and get like $1,995 refund apply to my loan. Anyone know if this is possible?

probably not, unless somehow in your car payment you subsidized the warranty with a higher selling price.

I have the same warranty you have, and I have looked into this. You can get a refund if you sell the car or trade it in, and it will be prorated based on your mileage or months into the contract. If you plan getting rid of your Z you need to either:

(1) Get a signed mileage statement from the dealership you trade it to, or go to the motor vehicle department in your state, fill out a mileage statement and get it notorized(at least that's how it works where I live).

(2) Send a copy of that to the dealership where you bought the car, and they should take care of the rest.

I just looked in my booklet and it doesn't say anything like you are describing.

Good luck.
