On a serious note, be extremly careful when drilling into the stock tweeter sails to fit aftermarket tweeters. I drilled the holes too big and came to find out they cost $100+ each

Damn, I had to think hard and long about this, but the only thing I regretted is not fixing my speaker when I bought the car new. I've been driving with it since new, but I don't hear it since I don't turn on the volume all that much. I REALLY don't want dealers messing up my wheels which I've had for 4 yrs and counting. The biggest mistake that I didn't make is modding the car, I was very tempted seeing so many on here. For not putting the money into the car helped me buy other things that I couldn't I believe I can buy. So far, the Z has been problem-free

Don't have your aftermarket or OEM audio work done by 'professionals.' I would rather do the work myself.

1. You learn about the wiring of the car.
2. You know exactly what was done.
3. You can save money.
4. Having parts put back or reinstalled doesn't end up costing you.

Dont spend 12k to supercharge your car and only get 400whp. Instead sell your car for 20k and buy a TT Z with 625 whp for 25k That way it only cost 5k for an added 350 whp...hmmmm what a decision

By the way, the tune is only a fraction of the cost of going forced inducted

Read the entire owner's manual of your Z (it'll save you some headaches later)... this car isn't the most "plug and play" friendly vehicle.

2. The thread is old and on the bottom of the list somewhere.

Both are probably not very conducive to what the purpose of this thread is, so why not keep this one going?

When I was 16 my friend was showing me his Dodge Omni he had just got (he just got his permit) and you didn't have to push the clutch in to start it. While his left leg and arm was out the opened door he turned it over and ran right THROUGH the garage door he was parked in front of.... also while going through the door he managed to break his leg while the door closed on him and total the car b/c the garage door fell on it. haha two knees oh I can only imagine

I have one, make sure that your new radio (the cd player in mine pooped out on me and died. So I got the xplod from sony) isn't too bright. Trust me at night time you'll want to have your peripheral vision instead of blue glare...especially if you live in an area with dense deer population

If you don't buy cheap junk you will have a radio with a dimmer, makes a world of difference. Most head units over the $200 range have this.
