OK, so i was like why doesnt connecticut show any cars, but today they do. At my dealer a car shows at the inventory, but i was told i was the number one spot. Is that possible? Has anyone seen one car from the inventory list at their dealer, and another one appear the next day or somthing, maybe they didnt post my car just yet? is that possible? Thanks tell me if anyone knows!

 

It is somewhat accurate, or at least in my dealerships case is was. I looked Wed nothing, Thur night 3 cars were listed including mine, I picked mine up on Friday. Yesterday, four more are listed and should be at the dealership now. I think there is a little lead time from posted to at dealership...again this is how it worked at my dealer could be diffierent elsewhere.

 

I wouldnt worry about it too much. Although your dealer might have placed your order first, there's so many steps it goes through on the way to the dealer that it isn't necessarily going to arrive first.

Even assuming the cars are built in order, are they loaded on the boat in order? Taken off the boat in order? Loaded on the train in order? taken off the train in order? Loaded on the trucks in order? taken off the trucks in order? etc. etc. Something tells me the people working at all these places are not too concerned with who ordered their cars first.
I'm guessing they get a bit jumbled once they leave the port in Japan.

 

My dealer received 2 Z's this past Saturday. The cars did not show up on the dealer inventory list until the following monday. My salesman also informed me that they are scheduled to receive another 2 this Saturday. However, nothing shows up on Nissans dealer inventory list. I personally am not relying too much on the dealer inventory info due to this. But I still have to check it everyday. Just trying to be patient.
