I will when I put my third set of rubber on this summer , and I have only put 7K miles on it... where do the tires go
Glad to see/hear you enjoy your Z as much as I do... no mercy! I don't know about you, but I have left my car stock engine was for the sake of safely being able to rev the heck out of it and drive at the track all day without any sort of failure.
The ONLY thing you have to worry about when doing donuts like that is having your power steering go boom... revs near the redline and turning the wheel all the way to one side overloads your power steering. Not to say it will fail, I have done my fair share of it with no problems yet but I always try to avoid going to a complete lock when doing donuts/drifting.
Video is a must next time!

I will absolutely laugh when the OP posts in the repair section about his blown engine, transmission, suspension, etc.
Also, to the know-it-alls, how do you all know what "the car is made for?" Are you all psychic? Trust me, there is NO factory prepared car that is made for doing donuts or long-term simultaneous clutch/accelerator engagement.

I have to agree that a few donuts in an empty asphalt parking lot is not gonna mess up your engine, transmission, suspension blah blah blah... as long as you dont do that all the time and you know how to drive. With that being said... the only thing I would kinda be afraid of is if your tread is really low and one of those tires gives and goes flat or shreds you just might have your wheels on the asphalt. It would be fun to go out in style like that... but if one of my tires popped and my volks started spinning on the ground I'd probably blow my own brains out right in that parking lot.

I wonder if it left any melted rubber on the bottom of the quarters? If so was it hard to clean off? Anyways, its good to have alittle fun every once in awhile. I baby the crap out of my car (its only seen daylight and the road for about 250 miles this yr). But when I do get it out of storage I allow my TT's to work Guys to each thier own. After all it is just a car. But be safe. I always wanted to take out the brake light fuse and roll some smoke but with my luck a driveshaft or axle would decide to relocate

Some people here really need to remove the stick up their asses.
1. It's not your car, stop worrying about other peoples.
2. Life is short. Have some fun.

wtf are you talking about?... I am absolutely laughing at posts like this. He did a couple donuts.... The interior of these cars are lacking a bit but i think it can handle some donuts. Its not like he was running 15 pounds of boost on a stock z bouncing it off the rev limiter all day... I've watched a bunch of cars that were pretty much stock be drifted and tracked and absolutely nothing went wrong with it.... the tires got screwed but thats it. Jeez... quite a few of you need to grow a pair and learn how to have fun with your car once in a while.
