Got a fresh alignment yesterday, track prep today and drive to Willow springs tomorrow morning.

did gloss black roof and mirrors. still deciding how I feel about them both. I have been entertaining the idea of vinyl wrapping the whole car (not black, some other color)! I really want to wrap the section below the grill and above the splitter in gloss black at some point as well. Need to find some time to remove my bumper and splitter.

wow! I haven't seen that before, but honestly I wish that was how our cars came. Looks a lot more like the older Z's, as well as the 370z! kudos my friend

Did you drill out the spot welds or cut? That really frees up the trunk space. I don't care/need the rear speakers either.

Drilling out the spot welds is the easiest way. There is no glue hold it down so it just comes out once the welds were gone!

EDIT:

Below the mate is a foam cell sound deaden material which helps a lot
