Spent Sunday replacing the rocker covers on a 2003 G35 for a friend. I loved it. It was better than CATS.

Brian, the flares came out CLEAN!! I love the way they don't look like the usual tacked on afterthoughts like so many "kits"! Also like the Martini stripes you rendered on your build thread! Awesome...can't wait to see the finished product.... of this version of your car. Hahahaha!

Just got mine back from the body shop. Had the bumper replaced with the aerosync I had sitting in the kitchen for a couple years put on. As well as the chargespeed carbon fiber side skirts, and evo r spoiler.

those chargespeed bottomline add ons are awesome. Wish i could find a used set. Also how was your experience ordering the EVO R spoiler? did you order through the Zstore or direct from EVOR? heard many many negative reviews dealing with EVOR. Both highly sought after pieces i'd say

Thanks. I’d ordered the spoiler directly from evo r roughly a year ago. I didn’t have any issues. I can’t remember how long it took to receive the spoiler. I know it was under a month. For some reason it seemed like around a couple weeks. I’d ordered it and then seen the negative feedback and got a bit sketched out. But was happy in the end. The owner of the body shop said it fit the best out of all the parts. The aerosync required a lot of work. Release agents and figment etc.

The Z got fresh oil, been using Shell Ultra Helix 5W40 (Penzoil Platinum in the US I believe?), great stuff but I've head good things about this Fuchs blend, so I am giving it a shot.

Also installed a set of H&R sways.

Pretty happy Z I think.

I wrapped my roof 3m gloss black....

I then removed my wrap and tossed it in the trash because I suck at installing wrap...

That was money well spent

Today i finally got around to Installing the Bilstein b14 kit, new poly bushes, and compression arms I've been sitting on for months and compared to the stock suspension which was pretty much blown after 95K, this is a revelation and the car drives far better than it had before when I bought it. Even though its close to stock height I'm probably gonna raise it a bit since that's what is making my camber so aggressive. Expect a review soon.

Nice! Love seeing this because it reminds me of that feeling of near smug satisfaction at that moment you realize and ponder, "Well, why the hel* didn't I do this a lonnnng time ago!?!?" Laff.... Kinda like the feeling of running a marathon, then those moments right after the post-run shower.

I feel like my car can only get better from here I've yet to install the swaybar kit with the endlinks. It should make the car feel a bit more balanced and a little easier to control at the limit so I'm no longer bracing myself against the dead pedal.

And there you go!! Swaybars....best bang-for-the-buck IMPROVEMENT one can make to a Z! (Well, after a good set of tires and alignment.) Have fun!!

Picked up an agency power off Craigslist. Wasn’t too crazy about the sound off the nismo s tune with test pipes. This agency screams though. Forgot how much I loved the sound of it.

It handles great now and it doesn't have any of the slop it used to. Even though I may get camber plates in the future but the question now is Should I raise the rear and add some rake? -2.5 to -2.7 degrees of camber in the rear seems really excessive to me and I wanna make sure it doesn't eat my tires. Nissan recommends factory camber to be around -2.1 degrees static.

It IS a tad excessive and will pose some added wear on the tires but.... overall grip at limit will probably be better when pushing it hard - at the expense of a little tail control (slightly more difficult to get the car into controlled oversteer with the loud pedal.) With that in mind, you'd want to adjust the sway bar steeper if that's how you use the car and keeping those camber/toe settings.)

The rear is actually pretty easy to fix, depending on whether you have also removed the mid-link/spring buckets when you went full C/O. If they're still there, you can probably mitigate the camber and toe with adjustable toe arms (that replace the mid-links) and a combination of adjustable camber arms/offset bushings. If you go with a mid-price set up for all, you're well under $500 (or over a grand if you go with Ti components).

For how I use my car (no track, just hills/canyons), the SPCs have been more than satisfactory. I have my alignment checked/re-set at least twice a year and when I was driving the car more, every 2-3 months. I was middle of range first time around and have since had it readjusted to max of range or ~-2.1deg rear. Very happy at this setting.
