crash and I need some part
I crashed the Z Saturday and I need to know where to look for some replacement parts. I have not had it on a lift yet so I know this list is going to grow. I need lower control arms for the right side(front and back), front bumper, and probably some more suspension parts.
I was going too fast around a familiar turn near my house and the rear end jumped out. I turned into the slide too much and the rear end jumped the other way, and I ended up sliding into the curb. Both right side wheels are toast, but I already have a replacement lined up for them. I need some suggestions about finding the suspension parts I need that might be cheaper than buying them from my local Nissan dealer. Would I be able to find those types of suspension items used? Would that be a smart thing to do or should I just suck it up and buy new OEM replacement parts? I am paying for the repairs myself as I don't carry full coverage on the Z.

Besides a dealer or a junkyard, here's your other option...

Yeah, and the amazing part is that davidv has already posted...and his post doesn't make me want to punch him. What's going on today?

Yeah, I am amazed that I got soooo much help in one day on this forum, and I didn't get flamed. Thanks for all the help, because I am really bummed about the accident. FYI. I am a 40 year old guy and my Titan is my daily driver. Flame or no flame I am still feeling pretty down on myself about the wreck. I have two young ones at home so I am glad I gave up the Aprillia for the Z.
Dave- I did start looking in the Forum's marketplace the day of the accident.
I think I have enough suggestions already for me to find what I need.
Thanks
