Anyone out there have a 2004 Performance? I had read (heard) at introduction that the 2004 Performance would be upgraded with Frost Leather Seats. I picked up the 2004 brochure yesterday, and it still shows the cloth seats for all but the Touring. Anybody here know?

I have an 04 Performance. bought a month ago.
It's charcoal cloth.

About a month ago, there was a problem with the Nissan web site. It you went to design a Z, it showed leather as the default on the Performance. That has since been corrected. It is probably where the rumor started that the Performance Z's were going to start coming with leather.

from what i know with the performance series in generall...

performance ALWAYS comes with 6MT and no AT availabe...
Performance ALWAYS comes with Cloth interior...

just like the TRACK is ALWAYS 6MT no AT or Leather...

performance is like the TRACK but no brembo's / defusers / rays wheels...

 

Ditto...Cloth seats only, Leather on Touring.

 

Make them through in the two tone ones in the accesories catalog for dirt cheap. I think their cost is like $600. Two tone red and black would look sweet!
