Default I cheated on my Z

I am such a pig and so ashamed. I haven't seen a Z in person and decided I would remain a virgin until mine came in. From watching the dealer inventory I knew a Chrome Silver was expected and I was told mine was due next week , so today running errands I decided to swing by dealer. There was a transporter right out front with one car already offloaded. I know I shoudn't have, but I pulled in and there she was, a Chrome Silver Performance. Damn, I started to turn around but it was too late I was drawn in by the seductive way it was sitting crossways in front of the showroom. I never considered CS but this thing looked like liquid diamonds. People talk of seeing it in person, how much better it looks. Well they are understating the facts. The proportions , the size, every detail from the interior to the headlights are perfect. In pictures there were some angles I didn't like, couldn't find one in person.
I'm like Jimmy Carter, I have sinned by lusting in my heart, but I never sat in it, I never opened a door, the hatch, I never actually touched it. Technically I'm still pure.
I've listened to the forum discussing color choice, from what I saw today there can't be a bad selection.
I've pretty much left my dealer alone, finding all the info I needed on the forums but since I was already there I went in to see the salesman, found out mine's been moved back to Sept. 24. Sommabitch, but I do have that little flirtation today to hold me until then!

A little window shopping isn't cheating. Cheating would be "sampling the goods".

I'm committed to never touching a Z until I have mine. So far, I'd say you've remained faithful to your original intent.

I had the same intentions of you as never driving a Z until I got mine (I had seen it at the Cleveland auto show so I had already seen one). My dealership, which has been fantastic so far, called me yesterday and said they had two to come look at. I came in this morning and thankfully waited because late last night the person who pre-ordered the 6M Touring backed out due to financing (the other was a 5AT Touring). Show up this morning and the owner of the dealership takes me out for a quick test drive and then hands over the keys for my own test drive. I was 1 sliver away from buying it after the test drive but decided I had to have my LeMans Sunset. Any hopes of being loyal to my Z got thrown out the window but was well worth it. Now all I have to do is wait till November when mine comes in .

On a side note, the Frost interior is absolutely stunning.

It's ok to look at the menu, just don't order. I am proud of you. You did nothing wrong.

I ordered Jan. 20. I don't think the first 7 months will seem as long as the next 3 weeks. I've noticed most people are getting their's early. I hope I'm as lucky.
