You gain sponsorship which does is not limited to the discounted prices. You gain my connections, my ability to get your car out there, get your name out there. This is not just about cheaper prices, although I can promise that you would not be able to get a cheaper price on parts.
In your particular case, you may not feel that this is your best option since you have already spent your hard earned money all of your parts. That is understand able. But, keep in mind that once you gain 1 sponsor, others will take notice and you will be on the radar. Becoming visible to companies that give sponsorships is worth all the money that you have invested in your car already plus more.

well maintainted, Ive whored myself out with the MR-2 with 5 local DFW sponsors. I wouldn't mind having both cars out at your events.

I have had several cars send me portfolios, and they all have a lot to offer.
I can't wait to see who else shoots me a portfolio.

I love seeing the lazy peeps, "take a look at this link and let me know if you'd like to sponsor my car." "Let me know if you wanna sponsor me."....ect.
Get the initiative to put your porfolio together and send it in...
