I got Silverstone b/c ironically enough, I had never seen the color before. I was looking for DB or PPW and the dealer had my Silverstone. I jumped on it but now, I see SS Zs EVERYWHERE and I found that it's the most common color. Really sucks. I'd have to go with either PPW or 1 of the orange colors. I'm not sure orange was available in 06 though. I should have just waited a year.

took me about 8 months to find a daytona blue in good shape with decent mileage... and i wanted an 05, so all that criteria took me a long time to find it, but i'm glad i did. daytona blue FTW, there is no other color out there for me

well i had a 2003 performace model z with the brickyard color on it and it looked good. I got many complaments on the paint. Everyone thought it was custom color until i said it was rare for 03. But now i have a 08 Nismo #1069 Magnetic Black and i would actually go to brickyard if i ever got the chance.

I wish I had waited a little longer and gotten a black Z, but I have been more than happy with the silver alloy or w/e its called. Getting it painted metallic black in a few months though

I was going to buy silverstone but talked myself into black. I wish I had gone with Silverstone. Although my DD is a light silver color and it looks clean all the time, so chrome silver would have been a better choice too.
EDIT: If the Z hadn't been my DD for 3.5 years and it was just a fair-weather vehicle, I think black would still be my choice. But for something you have to maintain through the elements and try to keep looking respectable, one of the lighter silver colors wins. Now that I am no longer DD'ing the Z, I have actually considered saving up some $$$$ to get a full repaint to un-do all the damage.
