know anyone in Japan near Tokyo or Kanagawa prefecture willing to translate?
This is an awkward request for me, but do any of you know someone who's fluent in Japanese and English and might be willing to translate for me while on a Nissan factory tour in Japan?
I've been thinking of taking a trip to Japan soon to hit Tokyo Motor Show (show is Oct. 25th - Nov 4) and I wanted to visit the Nissan plant in Oppama (in Kanagawa prefecture). I called them up last night and they no longer do English tours.
They used to do them on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of every month. Know anyone there who likes cars and would be willing to accompany me on a Japanese tour to translate? If I go, it'd probably be somewhere between Oct 27th and November 6th.
I'd be willing to pay them for the trouble... up to say $100 US.
I think my Maxima and Z were built at that plant which is why I'm extra curious.
I've visited the Mazda plant in Hiroshima two years ago. They did English tours 3x a week.
