Thats pretty funny. I wouldn't strap a tree to my car, but hey, to each his own. Good stuff!

I would have thrown a towel down, no biggy , its just a car. I brought mine home in the Z this year too.

Mine is a fake 6.5 foot tree that breaks down into 3 major pieces.

Nobody really cares,,,,,, until he decides to post his idiocy on a forum dedicated to 350z enthusiasts for all to see. Then it becomes a feedback thread where we all get to share our opinions on whether or not we agree with the OP. In this case, surprise surprise, most of us are unimpressed with his lack of paint protection in hauling his tree.

If you don't like our responses, how about joining a site that does not allow feedback to pictures/posts.... that might be easier on your obvious anger management issues. Just sayin....

Oh is it my turn?

Cool...I think it's brilliantly funny, and like davidv said, great first post. He didn't ask stupid questions and he posted pics. Thumbs up too, however I would never do such a thing.

I loaded a giant tree in the trunk of my STI I had last year...that was pretty funny too

Its a tree...I doubt he chucked it up there hard as hell, he drove slowly and went a short distance. Its the car he had, so he had to make due like he said. With the way it sits, the branches folded upwards, so more or less they weren't jabbing into the surface.

Yes I love my car more than the average person and probably more than half the people on a given forum, but is that going to stop me from living life and at least enjoying what I can with my car? No. Scratches buff out. Life goes on.

I was born on Christmas, I don't know what I'd do without a Christmas tree. If two of my roommates didn't have a truck, I'd do the same thing. I'd rather put it up on the roof as opposed to get needles and sap all over the interior by stuffing it in the hatch

I agree totally. People cringe when I tell them I loaded a 12' artificial tree into the back of a Corvette coupe and drove home. A friend of mine just brought a 10' cut tree home in the back of his vette...

They are just cars. If you are careful when you load them, they are just fine when you get home.

Now if it were your car that the tree was loaded onto then I could understand why you peeps would chit bricks. But the fact is that it was HIS car, not yours. And as he stated, he did it cautiously, and the paint was not harmed.

Thanks for the post OP I thought it was funny!

It could have been worse. At least he doesn't own a Roadster and did this!

Have fun repainting the hatch and roof.
